Mike Kills it!
Awesome podcast. Mike has a great perspective on things and supports everything by scripture. It is great to hear a voice that is counter cultural but is straight from the bible.

Thought Provoking : Inspiring : Challenging : Encouraging
Mike continues to be a great voice for our Christian subculture. Not because I find myself agreeing with everything he says, but because I always walk away challenged follow Jesus better and to love other’s more. He expresses his opinions clearly which challenges a lot of the "Christian churchy" status quo, yet does not do it in a way that feels like it disunfies The Church.
Loved the "Faith & Doubt" conversation. Also the “Please stop loving the sinner / hating the sin.”
I was going to give this rating only 1 star when I heard that Andy hadn’t seen Star Wars… Good thing the rest of the podcast is so good and Mike is challenging us to show grace ;)

Finally
It's refreshing to finally hear somebody speaking about the crunchy goodness of Christ in freedom. Thank you for displaying that His kindness draws us to repentance and not slapping everyone around with correctness.

Thank you Jesus!
Mike declares the truth about Jesus and explains how HE always fronted GRACE before truth or judgement. It is my prayer that this message would resonate across our country and change the perception and practices of “Evangelical Christians”.

Awfully disturbing.
Church. Shake it up. Listen to these podcasts. Guaranteed to make you think about what you believe. There hasn’t been one that I don’t say to myself, “darn’t it, that is disturbing the way I thought about (that). Isn’t that what Jesus did? Listen…get disturbed. You owe it to yourself. Guaranteed to be awful…in the inspiring sort of way. :)

One of the Best
Mike Erre adds a voice to the dialogue that is worth engaging in. His messages have always been thought provoking and pointed towards knowing Jesus in a more intimate and authentic way. All that said-I don’t think this is a podcast exclusively for Christians. A lot of what Mike has to say in this pod cost has to do with morality and values and why or why not? Subscribing to Christianity isn’t deciding to adhere to strict rules and regulations but being invited into the freedom that is extended through Christ. Mike basically talks about that. And Andy Lara is a peach, so enjoy him as well.

So good!
Mike Erre lays out relevant theological topics perfectly (similar to the way Liverpool FC laid out Chelsea this season)! His desire and recognition of his need for humility has always been an encouragement for me (and is sometimes all he has to cling to when his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes lose).

VOX really does demonstrate how relevant a subversive kingdom actually is.
Mike & Andy are quirky and honest, and take a truly examined look at the important things in our time and life. They make us question the deepest desires of our heart, and force us to stop just long enough to think hard about what we believe and why we believe it. It's more than religion, its about what grace and truth lived out on a day to day basis might really be like.
Conservatives and Liberals alike will not like they truth that they are seeking to bring to into the conversation from the life and impact that history tells us that Jesus might have actually had on his surroundings and the people he met.
You won't be sorry that you listened. Authentic thoughtfulness awaits us all in the arena of VOX.

Thought provoking and passionate

Front with love
Challenges the western worldview that Jesus would have been either right-wing or left-wing, argues instead that Jesus would know better than to side with either. So far the dominant theme has been what Jesus said was the second greatest commandment, love your neighbor as yourself. Exciting to hear an opinion different than hate or overlooking sin. Mike Erre does a good job finding where love belongs and how to practically apply the same unconditional love that God shows.

Theologically sound, Charitable discourse
I just discovered this podcast and want to recommend it to anyone looking for sound, deep, yet charitable theological conversations on what are some of the most divisive topics in Christianity. As a pastor I especially appreciate the balance Mike Erre and his co-host achieve between proclaiming the full Christian gospel and showing hospitality to listeners who might not agree with the Christian message. Great job!

I'm gay and I feel safe in this conversation
So far this is very interesting. I don't know if I will agree with all of this but I feel like this is a great conversation. I feel like this is being said with love for a change.

Clarity on difficult issues
Mike is both awesome and a little frustrating. He brings clarity to hard topics on biblical principles, which in some ways, can go strongly against what we, as American Christians, have come to believe in (in this current time and culture.) Mike is really good at communicating how American, "established-church" mindsets are not always a good reflection of Jesus’ true heart. I have to admit that listening to Mike causes me to reevaluate some of the cultural beliefs I have stood solid on. It's a little rattling. But, in a good way. I miss Mike as my pastor but am so thankful for this podcast.

Great podcast - relevant, radical grace!
Mike has a gift for dealing with difficult topics with grace and truth. He is REAL! Mike asks and discusses great question and doesn't give easy answers. Challenging and life-giving. This is my top pick for quality podcasts.
